As per NCAA, there need to be 3 divisions for filtering the basketball players. Division 1 is the most important and famous league, which is participated by colleges who sponsors seven sports for women athletes. Division 2 is for the colleges, which hold four sports for women. And Division 3 is participated by colleges, which organizes five sports and also have 2 participating teams. Women’s basketball has witnessed a steady growth in the recent years. The growth can be weighed by the number of women coaches, women players, and their achievements. The main reason behind the growth of the women basketball is the dedication of the women coaches who train the students for their athletic and personal success. Changes in the game also play a role in increased exposure of women’s basketball. Today, women’s basketball is considered like just any other game. The growth of women’s basketball is a tribute to the women and their love to the game.
